Action Reading FUNdamentals Program
The Action Reading FUNdamentals home phonics tutorial is an intensive systematic phonics program available online. It consists of Overview Video and 7 sections with a total of audio 92 lessons, ten hours of logical, step-by-step instructions. Each lesson has workbook pages, games or activities. Everything is included with this online course for teaching a student to be a fluent and independent reader.
The students begin by learning how our alphabetic system of reading and writing was invented. They learn the sound symbol relationships of English and how these sounds are used to make words.
Students progress on to sentences and finally to stories (always reading for meaning and comprehension). All learning modalities are used so that whether the student is a visual learner or an auditory learner they won’t miss out. The student is encouraged with much enthusiasm to use all the senses by singing, exercising and doing other activities that reinforce the learning process. All drill practice is done with games.
I left a post on Facebook, before i realized I could send a message here. I purchased your curriculum through a library sale and I wanted to use it for my daughter. My only concern is that it is missing page 1 and page 7 of the gameboards. It is also missing the parent DVD. Is this a necessary item for the program, or would I be able to complete the program without it? I would just hate to not be able to use what looks like a really good program bc of two missing pages.
